The first Amharic AAC platform
Empowering non-verbal and speech-delayed children to build sentences, express needs, and share their world — using pictures and Amharic words they already know.

How it works
Communication made simple in just three easy steps
Choose a Category
Browse through organized categories like food, feelings, activities, and more.
Select Pictures
Tap on colorful picture cards to build sentences and express thoughts.
Speak & Share
Press play to hear the message spoken aloud, helping children communicate.
Tailored for Amharic. Built for Connection.
Every picture and every button was made for Amharic-speaking children, so what a child means is what comes out.
Pictures from home
The pictures show the food, holidays, and family life Ethiopian children already know — injera, coffee, grandparents, Meskel — so a child recognises them straight away.
Show where it hurts
When a child is unwell, they tap the spot on a picture of the body. No more guessing which part hurts or how they feel.
Build full sentences
Children combine words and phrases to say complete thoughts — not just single words.
Every word stays put
Buttons are the same size and never move, so children learn where each word lives and find it faster the more they use it.
Inside the Interface
A look at the real screens children use every day.
The main screen
Big, clearly written Amharic words, with everyday replies like Yes, No, Please and Sorry always in the same place down the side. The strip along the top collects each word a child taps, so a full sentence builds up as they go.

Complete Core Modules
Alongside the areas shown above, the app comes with all of these, so children have the words they need at home, at school, and out in the world.
Try it yourself
Tap a few pictures to build a message, then press ተናገር to hear it spoken aloud.
